Meet Perth’s ONLY Certified Bathroom Designer

A photo of a centre island table, in a kitchen, with a woman walking to the side, wearing an orange dress.

The profession of interior design – and more specifically, kitchen and bathroom design – is not regulated by the Australian Government, nor legally protected in any way. This means that any individual may call themselves a ‘designer’ regardless of their level of experience, training or qualifications.

And that can make things tricky for you – the consumer. How do you know that you’re engaging an individual with ample experience and knowledge? A designer can talk the talk, but how do know that when it comes down to it, that they can walk the walk? Simple – work with a Certified Designer.

WHAT IS A CERTIFIED DESIGNER?

The Kitchen and Bathroom Design Institute (KBDi) offer a certification to designers who possess extensive trade and practical experience and learned-on-the-job design skills.

The certification represents proven excellence in kitchen and bathroom design, and it is your guarantee that you’re working with a true professional.

HOW DO DESIGNERS BECOME CERTIFIED?

Becoming a KBDi Certified Designer is no easy process. Candidates need to prove extensive and relevant industry qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. 8 projects are submitted to a panel for intensive review and only the top candidates achieve certification.

PERTH’S ONLY CERTIFIED DESIGNER.
