Kyle McGregor
Managing DirectorMeet Kyle, the visionary at the helm of Lux Interiors, proudly donning the title of one of the Managing Directors. Kyle’s journey in the industry began in Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2002, where he crafted his carpentry skills by building architectural homes. Fast forward 21 years, and Kyle has made his mark in Perth, after co-founding Lux Interiors alongside his longtime best friend, Andrew Daly.
Kyle’s strengths lie in a profound knowledge of all trades, meticulous attention to detail, and a knack for problem-solving that ensures the delivery of unrivalled quality projects time and time again. Outside of the company, Kyle finds joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending time with his partner and two amazing children, surfing, residential home design, and cultivating his green thumb in the garden. Kyle cherishes the rewarding journey of creating dream homes and feels grateful to be immersed in an industry that fuels his passion.
Andrew Daly
Managing DirectorAt Lux Interiors, Andrew stands as a key force as one of the Managing Directors, overseeing daily business operations and driving the company’s vision. With a rich background spanning two decades, Andrew has a wealth of experience within the architectural renovation world.
Andrew’s construction career began in New Zealand, laying the groundwork for his deep industry knowledge. Andrew’s strengths are shown in his seamless collaboration with designers, detailed estimates, and in-depth understanding of building codes and construction methods prevalent in Western Australian homes. Outside the construction sphere, you’ll find Andrew in the kitchen crafting culinary masterpieces, living an active lifestyle, spending time with family and friends, and travelling. Andrew takes pride in the company’s past achievements and is excited to see its ongoing success as a trailblazer in the realm of high-end renovations.
Claudia Munozereyes
DesignerWith a background rooted in architecture and interior design, Claudia brings a wealth of expertise to Lux Interiors. Originally hailing from La Paz, Bolivia, Claudia’s professional journey led her to Mexico, where she honed her skills as a drafter within an architecture firm. In 2010, Claudia made the move to Australia to raise her family. Claudia is now an integral part of the Lux Interiors team, infusing her work with precision and creativity.
Claudia’s strengths within the industry lie in her meticulous attention to detail, coupled with a genuine passion for completing selections to elevate each project. Proficient in graphic tools, Claudia creates the selection board presentations, ensuring each client can visualise their renovation. Beyond the design world, Claudia finds joy in cake decoration, photography, and various arts and crafts. Her interests not only contribute to her creativity but also reflect her commitment to bringing a personal touch to every aspect of her life.
Melanie Bond
Procurement ManagerAt the heart of Lux Interior’s operational efficiency is Mel, the Procurement Manager. Mel plays a pivotal role in the seamless execution of projects, from quoting to material procurement and shipment coordination. Mel’s journey began with 7 years of experience managing commercial fit-outs. After moving from New Zealand to Perth, Mel is now pursuing an Interior Design Diploma and aspires to contribute her creative eye to the Lux Interiors Design Team in the future.
Mel is passionate about the industry and enjoys being involved in the transformation of spaces into masterpieces. When not immersed in the world of renovations, Mel likes to be outdoors, spending time at the beach, staying active in the gym, and painting when the business of life allows it!
Pen Melis
Principal Interior DesignerAs Lux Interior’s Principal Interior Designer, Pen is the driving force behind the company’s design initiatives. Her role encompasses the entire project lifecycle from the initial client consultation to the final handover. With a keen eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to excellence, Pen intricately weaves together aesthetics and functionality.
With over 15 years of international experience, Pen’s design journey began in London, shaping her foundation with a focus on high-end residential projects and a deep appreciation for quality craftsmanship. Pen is a proud mother of two, constantly navigating the joys and challenges of parenting. Pen is passionate about teaching, illustration, and children’s storybook writing. She also spends her weekends running with her dog and gardening.
Kip Wood-Smith
Design Assistant & DocumenterWithin the Lux Interior’s team, Kip Wood-Smith is the Design Assistant and Documenter. As a key member, Kip crafts innovative designs and creates working drawings essential for the pricing and construction of each project. With a background as a Cabinet Maker and qualifications in industrial design and kitchen & bathroom Design, Kip brings a rich and varied skill set to the Lux Interiors design table.
Kip’s strengths within the industry are deeply rooted in his extensive experience in drafting cabinetry for the residential sector. This experience enhances the precision and detail of his project documentation. Beyond the drafting board, Kip’s interests expand into the worlds of martial arts, endurance running, surfing, and travelling.
Anja Madzarac
Accounts/HR ManagerAnja Madzarac is the Accounts/HR Manager for Lux Interiors. Originally from Rijeka, Croatia, Anja embarked on her professional journey by completing a bachelor’s in economics before making her way to Perth to specialise in Human Resources through a postgraduate program.
With many years as part of the Lux Interiors team, Anja plays a crucial role in the company’s growth. Her responsibilities include meticulous financial management, ensuring smooth cash flow, and championing fair and timely payments to trades and suppliers. Beyond the numbers, Anja enjoys spending time with her partner and two beautiful children. When she’s not at the beach you’ll find her working hard at the gym and socialising with friends.
Gary Dobson
Site ManagerAs Lux Interior’s Site Manager, Gary brings over 13 years of invaluable experience to the team. His passion is in delivering high-quality service to clients, and this shows through his projects.
Gary thrives in the high-end renovations industry and contributes daily to the company’s commitment to excellence. He enjoys a challenge and is always eager to push the boundaries of what can be achieved within the industry. Beyond the construction site, Gary enjoys spending time with his wife and dog. Gary met his wife rock climbing, and they still enjoy heading out together to test themselves on the rock faces.
Gerard Burke
Project ManagerAs Lux Interior’s dedicated Project Manager, Gerard contributes over a decade of construction expertise to the team. Gerard has immersed himself in the Perth renovation industry, adding a wealth of experience to Lux Interior’s high-end renovations.
His journey in the construction industry has been diverse, ranging from high-end residential builds to group housing projects, honing his skills in delivering high-quality projects on schedule. Gerard and his wife have just started their family which keeps him busy but when he has the chance, you’ll find him fishing and diving, watching sports, and spending time with his friends and family.
